I'd say RESULTS rather than PLAY.

Judging by play, we got our shite pushed in for 75/90 against Ghana, 45/90 versus Portugal, and 90/90 by Germany and Belgium

Specifically, what do you mean by "got our shite pushed in"?
Because that seems awfully unfair.

17 shots on target to 5 against Belgium. 0 shots on target against Germany. 38% possession and 21 shots to 8 against Ghana. Very few touches around the box against Portugal, Germany, and Ghana. We didn't play well at all in the 2014 WC.

Hell, Belgium had 39 total shots and 19 corners against us.

Both Ghana and Germany almost doubled us as far as total passes.

33% possession against Germany.

You can't watch the Ghana, Germany, and Belgium games and come away thinking, "This is how we need to play."

The lack of shots to me is a major worry and has been for a while. Hell we were getting outshot by Haiti in the gold cup. Haiti.

He has done well starting to change the country's youth philosophy and structure and also recruited some very talented young players that may have played for another country instead of the US. But he is only a decent coach and I think the national team could do better.
