My girlfriend is Persian so when I was looking up Germany’s lineup and saw the bench, I saw a Sara Doorsoun-Khajeh and thought she was most likely Turkish but sure enough Iranian father and Turkish mother. She’s a would, but not on the field.
At least to me, but I’m a sucker for everything I’m not: darker skinned (everyone’s dark compared to me even most other white people lol, dark eyes, dark hair).

I really can’t stand Julie Foudy’s voice… actually I dislike hearing soccer commentated by just about any American - and that’d probably go for a Canadian too. Just not the same.

I always hate when a ref gets in-between two players.
If a player wants to get themselves sent off, then it's not a ref's job to stop them from doing that.

Number 14 for Germany is a waste of space. Doesn’t hustle, loses the hall, offers nothing going forward. Basically like playing with 10.

This is probably why I have an Asian (Iranian) girlfriend. She likes my paleness - and generally those cultures find it more appealing. fricking western society with the fake tan or just needing to be tan BS.
I would’ve just said Asian but people always assume Japanese or Korean when you say Asian. Iranians are Asians too.
