After much thought and deliberation with family, friends and spiritual advisers, Oldmanbeasley will be officially supporting Leeds United Football Club for the 2026-2027 English Premier League season. Oldmanbeasley will not be taking further questions at this time. Thank you and God bless.

Lucas the Kop Cat and Cyril the Swan joining forces this year to see Leeds crash the European places and Swansea getting auto relegated to tPremierLeague
Will be nice to see us get off to a good start this weekend. Three points were very hard to come by for the lads last campaign when playing away from Elland Road

The Moustachi burger actually looks really good

Not gonna lie, after the preseason we’ve had (results + incomings), I’ll be extremely disappointed with anything other than 3 points.

I’ll take 1-3.
Forest are pretty good and shouldn’t be in a relegation scrap this year. tBoss got 4 points off Glasner last season so hopefully we can get another good result.

Piroe and Bornauw loans officially announced by the club. It sounds like a big initial loan fee for Piroe with an obligation if West Ham is promoted, total up to 12.
Now for a few more incomings hopefully.
ETA: Elvedi announced.

I will say that every incoming we have made has the looks of improving the squad
Wilson > Brenda
Elvedi > Barn Owl
BBB > tPirate
Trafford > Perri/Darlow
I could see Elvedi coming in for an injured Rodon or something and forcing his way into the team like Justin did last year
Edit: Piroe deal is 4 million loan fee plus wage coverage, then the 8 million obligation if they get promoted. Thats not a bad deal for Leeds

I agree. Would like to see 2-3 more brought in before the close of the window. Need #2 keeper desperately and cover for the left side. Maybe bring in a striker but we don't seem to have a sense of urgency about that one as Okafor is perfectly capable of playing a false 9 if he's fit. Also, cheaper options will present themselves as the window winds down. Give the scabs a good hiding this satdi and close out the window strong.

A few weeks ago i heard we were linked with Jason Steele for GK2
Would be a very solid Darlow-esque signing

Also linked with Zetterer from Frankfurt but that seems to have fallen through. The Perri deal to Torino has hit a snag apparently so we may restart the talks with Marseille.

Rodon and now Bogle extended through 2030.

Kudos to the club for getting that done out of no where. Well deserved for both.

You have to imagine Brenda is next to be extended, I know he leaves things to be desired as a starter but he is a good squad player who can be a sub and occasionally start

Yes. Aaronson is next. Apparently looking at Delap on loan for striker cover. Chelscum want 40m for a straight transfer. Probably address lw after that. No word on the Perri situation.

Freaking English tax is crazy.

Delap looked shite with Chelsea but you can’t hold that against him because everyone looks shite when at Chelsea

Yeah. I think our people believe that it's a confidence issue and that he can regain that with a change of scenery. He scored quite a few for the Tractor Boys the last time they were up so he has shown he can score in the PL.
Hearing conflicting reports on Perri and Zetterer. My pal is saying that the Perri deal is back on and Zetterer is coming in depending on Frankfurt signing another keeper. As for LW, we were looking at El Mala but he signed a new contract with Köln. Now turning our attention to other Bundesliga wingers. As we all know, Farke loves that league. Oh, and Willy appears to be staying.

Exactly and think everyone was shocked that he resigned with Köln. I don't know how serious the talks were with his people but we had expressed interest.
