We beat them 2-0 in the CONCACAF championship. We were clearly the better side but they still had decent chances. Scott (GK) played well in that game. It’s awesome because we had never beaten Mexico at the U20 level before but have beat them in the final the past two cycles.

More evidence USA is making strides at youth development by hook and crook. If Mexico doesn't shake things up, they might have to hope to raid US talent in the future.

Mexico's best U17 player is American and was trained in the US.

Poland could have about 3-4 more goals if they would have:
1) stayed onside
2) tried to place their shots instead of blasting the ball into the stands

this squad has the ability to turn it on and absolutely smother teams for 20-30 minutes at a time. they’ve been doing it since they were U17
