No I didn't. I just said you had to be willing to pay up to get him.

Whatever, it's a good deal for both sides. Cabella is much better suited to continental play.

This KDB shite is just getting confusing. If it's going to happen just fricking wrap it up Txiki.

€71M for DeBruyne?

I don't get it... watched him over the weekend and he was not very good... I think he's a good player, but that kind of money should be reserved for World Class talent...

He´s still as close to a sure-fire prospect as there is, but he´s still a prospect.

I´ve had the misfortune of seeing him play and be very grey, but the hulabaloo is certainly about something.

He also was Bundesliga´s player of the year (I guess nobody ´tore it up´ last year).

He missed only nine minutes of last season and was taken off in like the 75th of the match. It seems to me that it is a total possibility that his mind isn't on Wolfsburg, kind of like what United are thinking with De Gea. Things like that do happen with players that are maybe moving.

It is a lot of money, but KDB is one of the best attacking mids in the world when he's on form. He was amazing last season at Wolfsburg. He's that much because people know City will pay whatever it takes to get their man and that's exactly what is likely to happen.

Man, that´s a lot of pressure on a guy I really like, Pellegrini.

I think he got a raw deal at RM, I think he´s a brilliant coach, but I do think City needs to be patient with him. Not Wenger patient, but patient.

For a guy whose arse was on the hot seat entering this year, he's shut up a bunch of haters. Not winning any hardware this season could be the end of him though, especially if we do get KDB/Otamendi. There will be no excuse.

ETA: If we keep choking in the UCL, which I feel like we're destined to suck in forever, he may find himself out as well.

Pellers had a "bad season" last year due to injuries, players coming off the WC, and fricking AFCON. I wasn't big on sacking mancini but damn pellegrini is a good coach.

Barring total meltdown, I will be pissed if we let him go after this season.

Rumor. Pellers got a 3 year deal supposedly to match peps with bayern. We brought in txiki who worked with pep at barca. Pep won't sign an extension at bayern and we JUST gave pellers a nice one year extension with a hefty buyout. Rumor is pep has been the brass' guy since the mancini days.

Personally, I think Pellegrini is the better fit. Who knows though?

I doubt anything comes of it, but supposedly Juve are meeting with Mkhitaryan's agent tomorrow.

Brilliant, maybe, but stubborn is the first word that comes to mind when I think about Pellegrini. That 442 has cost City many points the past 2 seasons. I really like him and his demeanor, but he's lucky to have not been fired after last season. Glad that looks like a thing of the past.
