Yea I'm not believing that just yet. Unless he's out of contract coming on free I just don't buy the MLS paying that kind of transfer fee.

Lucas and Pastore have extended their PSG contracts. Not that either were going anywhere.

Being reported elsewhere and the City guys from Barca might be leaking it.

Every article I've seen on it cites AS

Any idea what Italian player that is?
Also, Greg Seltzer is reporting there is a lot of interest in Podolski to MLS, from both sides. Arsenal have agreed to pay a large chunk of his salary.

I really wonder who gets paid to make this shite up.
Transfer rumor journalists and meteorologists are the only two professions were you can be wrong 95% of the time and still keep your job.

Tottenham are about to sign Marseille and Ghana's winger Andre Ayew in the coming days.
Will most likely play on the left.
Has great pace, and scores plenty from the wing.
25 years young.
Will be good competition for Nacir (the dolphin) Chadli for a spot in the starting XI.

We were posting about Ayew's move above.
Ayew was pretty loud about wanting CL football. His agents are attempting to work out a deal with Roma and have been for a few weeks.
Roma have seemingly been stringing him along a bit.
Inter and Tottenham are both possible if Roma look elsewhere (Cuadrado, Konoplyanka etc).
However, he is a quality player on a free (though word is that he wants a very hefty signing bonus) so I wouldn't be shocked to see some other teams involved.

I'll be surprised if doesn't parlay that into a top level PL gig or a top gig in another domestic league relatively soon.

Unai Emery is edging close to becoming coach of Napoli but Sevilla are doing everything they can to try and keep hold of the man who guided them to back-to-back Europa League titles. The Hondarribia-born coach met with Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis in Madrid on Monday and was offered a three-year deal (it is rumoured that Rafa Benítez was offered a five-year deal to continue at €8 million per year).
Emery will not decide until today at the earliest as he weighs up where his future belongs but Monchi, the Sevilla sporting director, is working overtime to try and keep the 43-year-old in Andalusia.
If Emery does leave, Fran Escribá is the coach in the best position to succeed him. Sevilla would receive €1.5 million if Emery was to resign and they would pay €1m to Elche to secure the servies of Escribá. However, due to the debt that Elche is carrying, Sevilla may wait and see if Escribá becomes available. Marco Silva, the coach of Sporting Lisbon, is the club’s second option should Emery, who has remained tight-lipped until now, move on.
