He really doesn't say all that much.

Paraphrased:

"As you already know, I won't be playing in this Coppa Italia match. Not even I know what my future holds but right now I'm a Cagliari player and wake up every morning to train my best to be available for the weekend match.

I would like to thank all of you again for the multitude of supporting messages regardless of the difficulties that I've had up to now. I will continue to work with the same intensity to be the best. . . "

Manchester United are set to sign Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria in a deal worth over £48 million, Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague can exclusively reveal.

At long last there is significant movement in the seemingly never ending, ‘Will he stay or will he go’ saga of Angel di Maria. It now looks certain that he will leave Real Madrid and become a Manchester United player. The final meetings will take place at the beginning of next week.

United will pay more than 60m Euros for the player. More than 60. A great deal for Madrid.

I can exclusively reveal that, as we speak, football agent Jorge Mendes is on a flight from Singapore – where he has been putting to bed the purchase of Valencia by Peter Lim – to Europe, with a view to sealing the sale of Di Maria to United.

Panic buy to replace the talent of Nani, IMO.

When Di Maria puts the effort in and isn't lazy he can be a top 8 player in the world.

Hell he might be getting Nani type wages

Can play CM, CAM or winger...looked like the best player at times last season for RM...let's get another CB and I'll feel a lot better.

Would be kind of pointless to pay big money for him and not play him out wide. He was so effective at CM because he could move out wide into space created by Ronaldo moving centrally

I honestly do not know how Man U are going to jam all those players onto the field. I suppose they have plenty of options to do different things.

real has made some fricking bank the past 2 years selling players they bought while young

they made significant profits on: di maria, ozil, and higuain. khedira will net a handsome profit as well

4 years ago, who ever have thought that real and chelsea would be the model for "big" clubs and financial sanity?

What was his cost for Real, word is he can be had for around 10mm Euros. Wages are his issue.

yea those figures are not even close

at max it is around 54 million after add ons but the initial is in the mid 40's

Madrid's asking price for a player who wants out and they won't play would be absurd to be that high.

one is not like the others on that list

35 million in 2011 is probably about 42 now

Not to a desperate team... Sure you probably had to over pay for him, but if you have the money, who cares...
