Lovren to Liverpool is official

Your thoughts on Ryan Gauld?
I'm happy he's moved to Portugal and not England.
He's skillful, but not enough to compensate for being too small for a physical league. He's also just starting to show signs of his potential. Right now, he's Freddy Adu with less expectations. He could become really good, but he's not there yet.
On a related note Dundee U has the best plan of all the Scottish clubs (yes, even Celtic). Their youth programs are finally paying off and they're able to sell some on and replace them without wrecking their system and budget.

Some guy called Jo Berget has signed for Celtic on loan from Cardiff. Not impressed at the moment.
Tony Watt to Standard Liege. His head's not screwed on right. He's an '70s-'80s style "lad footballer" in a 21st century world.
Also, looks like the Aquino loan is off as Villareal won't agree to an option to buy.
In other Celtic-Villareal news, the clubs have organised a friendly benefiting a cancer charity.

Reports that United are in talks with Napoli over Fellaini. Figure of 15m pounds being mentioned.

Jenkins said they would entertain offers from Champions League teams for Bony. So I guess he's back on the market
Bhoy, you know anything about that Stephen Kingsley kid they got from Falkirk?

Made it into the Championship team of the season.
Other than that, I don't really remember him standing out too much in Cup matches.
Celtic are close to buying Jeff Louis from Nancy.

Chris Burke transferred from Birmingham City to Nottingham Forest. Shrewd little signing by Forest. Nice Winger.

If a team wants them and pays the money, they'll sell. I understand they're just trying to not look weak

But they've made nearly a 100mil this window already. It's more profitable to sell your best players and stay in the league than it is to sell your players and get relegated. I wouldn't be surprised if they refused to sell more players until they get reinforcements in.

Jay is a stud but hes is coming off injury, good business is to let him bounce back and drive that price tag up for later.

I'm not saying they'll definitely sell, but they said the same for Lovren. I'm sure they'd like to keep them, but if other teams are offering good prices, hard to turn down that profit, especially for a club that's got a solid reputation for putting out some top players from their academy.
