Watching Miles' PC last night made part of me...

wish LSU had won. Simply for the fact that Miles runs his program with so much heart and passion for his players that you hate to see that come up short for any reason. I realize the same is true for Saban and many other programs but with Miles I get the sense that he treats everyone on his team as his own flesh and blood. Miles may be on the outs with the LSU fans right now but they should be honored to have a man of such esteem at the helm of their program.
A couple other thoughts:
LSU D is scary good! They could cover a fart in the wind and had the O given them a few more min rest here and there this contest would have been much closer. They never gave up and really only gave up one big run at the end. The big passes were covered well, just perfectly thrown. Whatareyougonnado?
Can't think of his name right now, but ya'lls Defensive end who stopped Lacy at a full run and then threw him backwards demonstrated the greatest feat of strength I have ever witnessed I think. Swamp Strong!
If JJ had 1/10 the work ethic and integrity as any man on your D then you guys have this game in the bag. Dude just acted like he was on the playground and tried to blame his team for his own mistakes, did you see the look he gave Ware when he shuttled that INT? Disgraceful. He is the only blight on an otherwise amazing LSU team.
LSU fans have been incredibly classy in defeat. Best fanbase in CF is not hyperbole!
Please don't get your dick in the dirt, I think Bama had some advantages going into this one that LSU did not. Namely a big chip on their shoulder with the loss on Nov 5th and no SECCG to prep for. Not giving you any excuses but those things should be considered before you start excercising any demons.
I'm sure this is way too long and many will not read but that's their loss!

I've always wanted to see how our defense would perform against a JJ offense.

masters, i tip my hat to you. very nice post, which helped take some of the pain away. all very good points. still, BAMA came prepared and dominated LSU. This tuesday is for rolling the Tide. Nice job BAMA.

These patronizing Alabama posts have me cracking up more than the "woe is me" LSU ones. I believe Coach Miles runs his program with a lot of passion, but nothing about last night would have led me to think that. Nothing on you Robin, I agree with 99% of your post, just that first part was funny.

Solid OP! You won't hear this on ESPN. Great game by Bama to win the NC. Gonna be a GIANT game next year in Baton Rouge, and a Night Game at that! "The Rematch"

Nice post, op- but the way LSU approached this game, I'm sorry to say we didn't deserve to win.
Player loyalty is one thing- but when it's apparent your starting QB will not give you a chance in hell to move the ball, it's time time sit him for a series or two.
A big part of why he couldn't execute was a Bama defense that seemed to be EVERYWHERE on every play.
This was a country arse-whipping from very angle. Bama was the better team tonight, and I have no qualms about their being the #1 team in the nation this morning.

This definitely showed in the pregame interviews. You could tell Bama was much more UP for this game than the LSU players.

It was LSU's bright spot last night and the only reason the score wasn't 49-0.
Thanks, but Alabama truly deserved that game, and yes, Miles should come under some form of scrutiny. I'm not saying he should be fired/replaced, that would be absurd. But the offensive gameplan was run by a stubborn mule last night.

No truer words have been spoken. As a Tiger fan, I wish JJ well in whatever else he does in life, but thank baby jesus he's done. His reaction to his own terrible playing last night really, really burned me.
Thanks for the kind words; congrats on the win, your guys definitely showed up and earned it.

Nice post, but its not fair that Bama got to have 15 defensive players on the field the whole game.....
