Putin could end the war in an instant if he wanted to. Why doesn't Russia just stop killing Ukrainians in their own land?
Don’t care. Sucks for the Ukrainians but it’s not my problem or America’s problem

I wonder why Fox.com and Newsmax are both reporting Zelensky is requesting a 30-day ceasefire rather than a 1 day ceasefire?
A one-day ceasefire with prisoner swap is stupid and can not be logistically done.
however, the Ukranians did refuse it so bombings are to be expected.

Any details on the why of the rejection?
Because Putin has attacked cities on Christmas Day, Palm Sunday and Good Friday, killing people coming and going to services.
About 20 minutes after the statement was posted by the Kremlin on Telegram, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote a post to X, formerly Twitter, saying that Russian drones were detected above Ukraine.
"As for yet another attempt by Putin to play with human lives—at this moment, air raid alerts are spreading across Ukraine. At 17:15, Russian attack drones were detected in our skies. Ukrainian air defense and aviation have already begun working to protect us. Shahed drones in our skies reveal Putin's true attitude toward Easter and toward human life," he wrote.

In short, he doesn't trust Putin. Would you?

The EU can't afford it's own defense without the US paying our fair share to NATO, much less supplying Ukraine with weapons and money. If the EU would start spending thier fair share, the couldn't afford thier massive welfare support for their illegals. The mud people would revolt!
Trump is fricking this up. He should withdraw from NATO and stop funding Ukraines military, government, and government services.
It's totally unacceptable that our tax dollars continue to fund Ukrainian government and basic services. frick that. THAT isn't what I voted for.

OP Concern troll is obvious.
And no sane world leader would believe Putin would stick to a ceasefire agreement.
He would just bomb Ukraine during the truce.

Frankly, I'd do the same if I was in the position. Part of Putin's strategy is indeed to get all supporters of Ukraine to throw their hands up in disgust and abandon them. And he's doing by various simultaneous means.
- War of attrition on the ground
- demonstrating his own support network (Iran, China, NK)
- breaking truces and promises to provoke a response
He wants this to be a non-european war. Their own little playground. It's a sound but very disreputable strategy.

At this point I think we need to just go ahead and nuke Ukraine.

You have think Ukraine's generals or whoever is under Zelensky is getting real tired of his shite and might want to have a "talk" with him soon

Nobody is realistically thinking this. How would that even happen?
How about Putin end this war now and save more lives?

I just don't believe I would deal with Zelensky anymore. Just tell Ukraine you're on your own as long as this yahoo is calling the shots. Tired of hearing about it as he has no incentive to end it.

So could Zylenski. Ukraine is the loser amd has zero leverage to bargain with.
You are one of the blind sheep that's been misled.
I won't het i to all the reasons, they've been discussed here too many times, but you should enlarge your understanding of the situation.

I don't think that's how wars are ended. The victor doesn't just pack up and go home and eat ice cream. I think there has to be an official surrender kind of thing happening first?

Has Putin broken a ceasefire yet during this conflict?
Real question. I don't know. If he has, yeah don't trust. If he hasn't, there has to be some trust I guess.
