You’re right. I completely forgot. Ukraine has kept the Islamic Iranian regime afloat for many years, helps to modernize and advance their military capabilities. Does the same for North Korea. And is also a major ally of Communist China…

It's realpolitik. That's how international politics has always worked. Trump wants to make a deal to benefit the US. If Zelensky won't play ball, he's going to get fricked over. From Zelensky's point of view, maybe it's worth it and maybe it's not.
