I'd tell you to stop playing dumb, but we've all seen your posts over the years and know you aren't playing.
Do you think the Ukraine war has any bearing on the USA outside of energy prices?
Any war anywhere in the world can affect global energy prices. Now add the bombing of refineries to that.
We'd be concerned about refineries being blown up anywhere in the world if it were happening on a large scale, as it has in Russia
The only way to avoid worrying about that is to leave the global energy market, which would be far more disastrous.

GreenChilliTiger's hero agrees with us about Ukraine and Russia FYI
After Putin annexed Crimea and moved 30,000 troops to the Ukrainian border, Obama refused to give Ukraine weapons to defend itself. And he refused for years.
Obama's speech in 2014 at the NATO summit said that Russia was a regional power that posed no threat to America, even after Putin invaded part of Ukraine. During that same speech Obama also said that Ukraine should work out its own future and that many Ukrainians in fact had allegiance to Russia. Obama said that countries regularly break international law and that it wasn't our problem.

Dang...look how based Obama was about Ukraine/Russia and America's involvement

Well when someone is supplying you with the weapons and technology to fend off your enemy , you don’t go blow up the enemies fuel they are sending to the people keeping you afloat . Trump needs to walk away and let Ukraine fall .

Let's see Russia is communists, Ukraine is a Democracy as is the US, in normal time commies are the enemy of democracy but I guess maga no longer sees it that way because potus makes enemies of allies and allies of enemies. If u can't see that Ukraine winning or removing Russia from it's land is in US best interest as the leader of Democracy around the world then u need a history lesson. maga is now a friend to Russia?

Trump is helping an enemy of the US.
We've given Ukraine billions of dollars, plus free access to Starlink. In return, Ukraine used our generosity to engage in impermissible actions. I'd say Ukraine is acting much more like the enemy. Heaven forbid America acts in its best interest and doesn't defer to a de facto midget-dictator!

This is only in our best interest if you assume that a stronger NATO benefits the United States. Recent history indicates that NATO countries have been unreliable partners, and America's involvement in it only benefits the other members. Perhaps there is something that I am missing. Would you care to enlighten me if so?

1. Why is Russia our enemy? Since the Cold War ended, what has Russia done to remain an enemy?
Russia allying with Iran, North Korea and China makes quite a telling axis.
Putin has done great harm to Russia and it will take generations to fix the mess he's made pursing his delusions of being the second coming of Peter the Great.

Russia hasn't been communist since Yeltsin came to power in the collapse of the Soviet Union. It has evolved into a big organized crime syndicate with Putin as the capo.

In comparison to the motley crew of Western Europe that can't afford adequate militaries and allows rampant migration, which is directly contributing to their rapid decline? Europe is now weaker than ever, and it's solely their own fault. They haven't lifted a finger to help the US stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, which China gladly assisted them with. With "friends" like these, who needs enemies?
Western Europe has behaved antagonistically toward Russia. Whether or not this is understandable is another argument, but from Russia's perspective, it's not irrational to look for partners elsewhere.

Trump sold out to Putin. What a pathetic loser. And the spineless Republicans don't raise a whimper. Pa the tic.
