1. Europe only talks a big game because they think they can drag the USA into it.
2. Their social Services bills are too high to fund a real military (discounting my bros in Poland and the Baltics)
3. No one in their right mind is going to go to war to help Ukraine.No one trusts him, he's a dictator who has killed 200k of his own people to stay in power, he's basically Saddam.

Russia is in some shite, they are not going to go trying to take over Europe. Losing out in Syria is a logistical nightmare for them because they are losing a sea port for their army and transport in general.
