That's false. When politicians say they are going to enact policies that cultivate crime and coddle criminals... and they vote for them.. they get what they vote for. When politicians say they are going to enact policies that result in more regulations, more taxes, more giveaways, more handouts resulting in higher costs and less safety... and they vote for them... they get what they vote for. When politicians say they are going to "focus on DEI" and you get simpletons in government that cannot function and cause chaos... and they vote for them... they get exactly what they voted for.
"Corporations and elites" can not elect politicians by themselves.
Just because they are so stupid to not see the same end result of what their candidate is laying out in front of them, that's on them. Life is hard... it's much harder when you are stupid.

Those who didn't vote but have been against the way Seattle has been trending are just as much to blame as those who voted for it. At the very least, they have no room to bitch because they've seen this coming and have chosen to do nothing.
For those who have been voting against it, they need to either work harder to elect better politicians or move. It sucks for them, but there's no other option as the Leftists have taken such far-reaching control.
