Maybe not you as an experienced firearm carrier, but people don't accidentally shoot themselves in the foot with a seatbelt.

I wonder why she saw them clearly identified as ICE agents and fled. She must be gullible enough to believe the lies being spread.
Maybe as a "brown person" she has read with concern the reports that ICE has detained hundreds of US citizens and has held dozens in custody for more than 24-hours without allowing them even the courtesy of a phone call to family or counsel.

"All she had to do was show them her ID!"

Maybe it was not on her person. Or mayb she had also read about US citizens Leonardo Garcia Venegas and George Retas, both of who were retained in custody for days DESPITE providing REAL ID to the ICE agents during their initial encounters.

Unlike 4chubbies, I can't look at someone and tell if they are a US citizen.

Why not run? It worked out for her. She's not detained and won't be for running.

So why would a US citizen run?
Because it kept her from being harassed and possibly detained

Harassed? So anytime a cop stops someone they should just run because they 'FEEL' Harassed and don't want the possibility of being detained.

Anyone carrying has the opportunity and obligation to familiarize themselves with their weapon of choice.

Also… just saying, but shooting oneself in the foot is rarely fatal.

Collateral damage for a necessary evil. Thank the prior President for letting in 20 million people without documentation.

Ideally! Unfortunately not always the case.

It seems sort of logically correct statistics-wise (when considering the people typically killed by firearms, and the situations in which it happens), but not for the correlation/causation proposition she seems to want to set forth.
