I had an old coworker who used to be an FBI profiler. Very interesting guy. We got into a conversation about something along these lines.
He said that blacks are not low IQ at all, actually in general they do very well with problem solving and social navigating. He said the official profile says that they are extremely impulsive (unpredictable) and easily influenced (gang membership) and usually use violence as a first response to stress.
The fatherless homes multiply those factors.

I think that this moves the bar some in a not good for Democrats direction. Seeing old folks attacked is bad, but honestly, many younger kids, later millennials and gen Z types, don't give 2 fricks about the elderly.
Seeing a young woman beaten, someone in their same age group, that they can 'relate with', ought to jar their senses a bit. This is real. This isn't some 'boomer problem '. that doesn't affect them directly.
This woman could literally be their classmate, co-worker, roommate, or ...them.

The reason there is enmity between asians and black people is because asians are the store owners in those areas and they are always hassling black people for shoplifting or grabbing merch and running out the door (the time-honored means by which they obtain the best deals).

True.
I don't think they were looking at it from a traditional academic achievement perspective. More around problem solving abilities and the ability to influence. Think on the lines of ability to organize and maintain a criminal organization and build that network.
The guy did a lot of interviews and was truly frightened by how smart a lot of criminals are. And how willing they were to be violent in short order.

No it isn't. The narrative is that white people are commiting violence against Asians. It is ABSOLUTELY necessary to dispel that narrative with reality.
