No argument here on that. Lots of good back and forth here, good points made by several with opposing views. Leaving the country is a big deal no matter where you go..
I have a nephew looking to leave and he's looking at Tblisi, Georgia as a possibility.

So, she says….Russian spies don’t exactly come out and tell everyone who they are. I doubt Russian mail order brides advertise what they are either. She looks Russian and so do her kids. I don’t buy that she was a born and bred Aussie.

The Georgians are a good people, they have great wine, great food, and it's beautiful there. There are worse places to make a life.

Funny you think they matter anymore.
Go ask the Jan 6th political prisoners about their rights.

Should have moved to based Poland
Poland has the same problems that Western Europe has, it's just not as bad yet, but they'll will probably catch up over the next ten years. Their guest worker program is bringing in foreigners who will lay down roots, like the Turks did in Germany, and you can see the same awful social ideas spreading through society.
The Orthodox countries, especially the ones who use Cyrillic, are better bets longterm.

My nephew says the same and looks that way best I can tell online. He says English is commonly spoken and it's pretty affordable too.

Just move to a super rural area and you'll be fine
Well, good luck to them.
If they are rich, they can live in either St Pete or Moscow somewhat comfortably as long as they are lucky, for example, don't come down with something like Parksinsons disease or Cancer or something which Russia basically "keeps the patient comfortable" but does not treat like America and the West does. And I hope they enjoy 10 channels on TV, no Direct TV (though they can illegally pirate satelite TV from the west - welcome to Russia, in order to live normally you have to break the law to watch the tube!)
If they are not rich maybe they will live in a nice run down unplowed street small town (village) like this one and shop in one of the bodega sized grocery stores with mostly only cured meat and some fish.
Anyway, good luck to them, here is a pretty evenhanded view, not super positive or negative about village life.

I just watched the entire video. That was great. I'm glad they can raise a family in a country without fear of satanism and debauchery that is promoted by our own government in the U.S.
Remember, U.S./NATO sanctions on Russia are not designed to hurt Russia. They are designed to keep cheap Russian commodities from Western markets.
