I think it’s stupid that they’re taking it off the website, but why can’t the buyer just research it for themselves?
They can. We both agree it’s stupid and we both know why it’s being done.

This is the stupid world liberals insist we must live in

Crime data is not subjective. It’s the opposite of subjective.
I mean from the perspective of how much crime is too much crime? Any non-domestic type murder is bad, but how many car break ins, burglaries need to occur before a neighborhood is considered “high crime”. My neighborhood was hit by the door handle pullers a yr ago, is that concerning to someone?
Some people have a higher threshold to accept it rather than others so why should I decide for them?

Agreed

removed the data due to growing concerns that it could perpetuate racial inequity.
how can this not be considered a racist statement???
in what world is this not racism??
unless it is somehow (D)ifferent than all the other forms of 'racism' we are deluged with from the democrats.

I'd sincerely like to know how *crime data does not accurately answer the question about how safe an area around a home is"?

The law requires disclosures in real estate deals.
The law does not require crime statistics be disclosed. Termite damage or plumbing issues must be disclosed because that information is not readily available to potential buyers otherwise. School districts and crime stats are.

How long before you and your goose stepping comrades try to outlaw crime data altogether?

One is a fact, the other is subjective.
I disagree, both are facts. They are simply raw data gleaned from official sources, how an individual interprets either is what is subjective.
What someone considers "too much" crime is no more nor less subjective than what one considers a school district to be "too bad".

That’s what I’m saying
Fwiw I’m on your side, I’m just trying to illustrate the tight line that is walked with fair housing laws.
