I'm fairly certain someone could run on the green party ticket and have their main platform to be against changing the time and they would win any federal election including the president.

For me, it is daylight available after school and work are over that is important. I am not waking up at 7am to play basketball or golf with the kids before school then doing it after school so I can have same amount of nonwork/school daylight.

Exactly. It is a small problem/inconvenience that none of our damn politicians will solve. It's one the majority of Americans hate. It's facking easy to fix it.
It is a problem too because people need to be outside and more people are likely to go outside after work than before it. Then people get less exercise and vitamin D and then get fatter and sicker. It's a health problem.

I’ve got it. Clocks that adjust themselves incrementally a few seconds each day to gradually shift between regular and daylight savings time. Plenty of money to be made by forcing people to replace any clock that isn’t part of a smart device.
