There is, but I don't think it was planned that way. I think after 2016 the Dems understand "muh Russia" is an excellent excuse that can wreak havoc. Even better, it can never really be proven. So any future loss with be blamed on the pesky Russians working from the shadows.

Sadly, I agree. It's only a matter of time before these retards wreck all 50 states like they've done to blue states where the cost of living is skyrocketing and citizens are being taxed into submission. I live a financially comfortable life here in Georgia, but I'd be straddling the poverty line if I lived in a far left blue state on the same salary.
Cali Liberals are feeling to Georgia in herds for financial freedom by escaping the very wallet crippling policies they ironically helped implement... and yet, they are STILL voting for blue politicians who support the same exact wallet crippling policies that drove them out of Cali in the the first place.
Unless something drastically changes, it's only a matter of years before $100k earners are considered low income and anyone below that (which will be the majority of the population) will living in shacks... But hey, at least we'll be living under progressive presidents!

Muh Russians is an attempt to throw the rest of us off track. Apparently someone was getting too close to the truth.
And Russians were chosen as the boogeyman because Russia has been keeping us from regime change in Syria. This serves as planting the seed for future sanctions in case Russia continues to cock block us in the Middle East.
