I’m convinced Trump is part of the deep state as well. Controlled opposition. Look how he championed the vaccines for example.
Look at how he and Rudy and company performed post 2020 election. They couldn’t have been more disastrous for the right if they tried.

Trumps only legislative accomplishment was a tax bill he had no part in writing. Anytime other bills where on the House Trump managed to start a Twitter outrage of some kind to take pressure off House/Senate to do their job.

Check out Ron DeSantis and the results in Florida.
Florida is a pretty obviously outlier. Everyone won big there, MAGA and RINO.
Is that what you are basing your opinion on?

Eh. We screwed ourselves in the primaries in nominating bad candidates in hindsight and the SC made abortion an issue (I agree with their ruling) and that made a difference. Kentucky voted for abortion just for perspective. I consider Kentucky fairly level headed politically and not a state of extremes on either side.
The dems put Trump on the ballot via association. It played to their advantage nationally even though they’re going to lose the House. This should’ve been a rout for us but we underperformed in a big way and it wasn’t because we stayed home. We were outplayed and the country just told us so. Large parts of the country have moved on from Trump, for better or worse.
One last thing: When was the last time a party lost control of the House and considered it a good showing? That’s how bad the dems and their media expected to get whipped this year.

AS a close neighbor to Florida why was the Ron influence unable to help Walker?

You mean people who can actually win elections?
And people who won't vote to legalize the killing of babies.
Trump is still the narcissistic piece of shite he's always been. The best thing that could happen to America would be for him to have a massive coronary and drop dead.

Walker losing in Georgia should open your eyes to what’s going on.
He’s loved by the black community, he is worshipped by the sports world and he is very conservative. He should be in the 60-70 percent vote range.

Trump literally celebrated the fact that a Republican lost to a Democrat the night of the mid-terms.
That’s a RINO move on par with Liz Cheney and the Lincoln Project

And non-legislatively his judicial picks were all Federalist Society and McConnell.
He was ready to bail on Kavanaugh, and it was McConnell who convinced him to hang in there.

So when Desantis loses y’all going to keep blaming Trump?
This is my concern
I’m not sure Desantis can beat mail in ballots or ballot harvesting. He is a great governor and would be a great president. But he also fired the Ruby Freemans in his state about a wk after he beat a crack addict in a squeaker. Who exactly is going to fire all the Rubies in Philadelphia, Detroit and Maricopa?
