MIchigan, you need to understand that there are many different facets to the “argument”. Where ALL are wrong is that they want to focus on one part of the equation.
The vast majority on TD believe as i do that Floyd is a trash bag that should not have died in the way that he did. On the other side of things, that cop has complaint sheet as long as Floyds rap sheet. He should not have been on the streets either. His boss (or boss’s boss) is the one to be held accountable.
What i find most interesting is that in all of these BLM “movements”, is the fact that the AA community seems to solidify behind criminals. What not solidify and glamorize Dr. Ben Carson, or someone like him? Heck, even black Jesus...he made it to president. Use these guys as examples of what can happen in this country? And only this country, FYI.
As far as these “protests” are concerned, march all you want. God bless you. But the second you threaten cops, break a window, flip a car, set a fire, YOU are now the problem. Not the solution. You should be dealt with just as any common criminal.

As an educated and articulate black woman recently put it...
Blacks are the only race that hold up the lowest piece of shite in their race as a hero. Asians, whites, Hispanics, Indians (feather and dot) will all call out their criminals and dirt bags for what they are. Play stupid games, etc.

I can honestly say my " rap sheet " doesn't have 2 x convictions of armed robbery, ANY time in prison, meth or fentanyl use, or passing fake currency, resisting arrest...

we mention it because we're saying they (victims) didn't value their own lives, didn't value the law or other people's lives (held woman at gun point), and apparently their own parents didn't bother to raise them right.

GF's rap sheet gets brought up to highlight the hypocrasy and timing of this media stoked outrage. When cases like Botham Jean hit the news in 2018, the politicians, professional agitators, and media didn't gaf because there wasn't an election to win. With Floyd, We dont even know if race was a factor.

saw a news clip yesterday that showed a number of nfl players BLM protesting while wearing black tee shirts. on the back was "you are with us,,,or you are against use". kind of a black/white statement that is not conciliatory

Simply put, while taken as an absolute I totally disagree with the statements that black lives matter or all lives matter.
It's the quality of the life that brings it value. Many lives are a net negative to society. Some are huge negatives to society.
Did Hitler's life matter? I mean if you say all lives matter, than his life mattered.
How about serial pedophiles? Seriously killers and rapists? There are some seriously fricked up lives out there that do nothing but hurt this world.
So no, not all lives matter. But if you are going to say catchy little phrases, rather than saying black lives matter might as well say all lives matter.
