WTF: Drudge Report has become a literal arm of the Iran media

Drudge quite literally sold out to another company some time back.

His name is still on the site but editorial changed to say the least.

Drudge has become Karen media…. I am not a Trumper because of what has happened thus far this term. But, drudge is straight trash.

Still called "Drudge Report" but Drudge is no longer affiliated other than in name.

They've been a blatantly leftist entity for five years now. Sad, used to be a solid outlet.

How it happened (probably) ...

Recall that Drudge was on the Trump train back in 2015.

Was pushing Trump as a serious candidate while MSM mocked.

When Trump wins in 2016 somebody came to the conclusion that Drudge played a key role in legitimizing Trump.

Impeachments and other attempts to oust Trump failed, and with 2020 in sight, somebody made the decision that it would be worthwhile to get control of Drudge Report by any means necessary.

Exactly how this happened we'll never know, but you can imagine they had something on him and/or wrote him a big check with future payment contingent on confidentiality.

So sometime in early 2019 you started to notice something 'off' about the Drudge Report. For folks who have followed for decades this was pretty obvious as the months rolled on.

Drudge had been bought out and went dark.

Covid happened then 2020 election happened with Drudge Report neutered and operating in name only.

A wild story considering Drudge was the most powerful force in media for decades. Theres a famous photo of the NYT newsroom with Drudge up on screen. At one time Drudge pulled the narrative for the MSM. They were almost forced to address whatever Drudge had up of be considered left behind.

In any event, this Drudge saga was one of the wildest stories of all time.
