Are you drinking? How does 1942 in the Pacific theater remotely resemble this?

None of this involves paying Iran billions to attack our troops, which is what made most of us mad. Were you mad when we left billions of equipment in Afghanistan, to be used against us, whether it's sold to others or not? Asking for a friend.

of course they would... as long as it's whatever side they support that does whatever objectionable action, it's not objectionable to them... same goes for Democrats...
both of these parties are terrible

No truer words. Bush’s, Clinton, Barry, and now Neocon Don.

I'm mad we spent two decades there. I'm mad American lives and treasure were lost trying to nation build a country of primitive savages. I'm mad our population was duped into supporting a stupid war that did nothing but line the pockets of defense contractors and put the Taliban back in power.

Americans wanting to self-impose restrictions, timetables and parameters for this war puts the IRGC in an even better spot.
I don't understand why so many here want to undercut our own country.

Trump sure is a master negotiator, I tell ya.
Well you see: if Trump sends ground troops, he's winning because it's a show of force and he's doing what needs to be done to win the war. If Trump doesn't send ground troops, he's winning because it signals that we're confident our air campaign is enough to defeat Iran.
Just like if he destroys the power plants, he's crushing the regime's will to continue. If he doesn't destroy the power plants, he's a benevolent and merciful president who is winning over the Persian people.
As you see, there is literally no incorrect move he can make!

If he’s going to send troops, 500,000 would be the absolute minimum required to make a serious push into mainland Iran.
Iran is a big arse country with mountainous terrain
That's why the people who think Trump is going to invade Iran and get us in a decade long quagmire are ridiculous.

The Pentagon is looking at sending up to 10,000 additional ground troops to the Middle East to give President Trump more military options even as he weighs peace talks with Tehran, Department of Defense officials with knowledge of the planning said
Maybe they are. But the WSJ are a bunch of globalists that want you to vote their way and have your open borders and cheap labor.
Muh anonymous sources.

Possibly to the Middle East.
Maybe even possibly to Iran.
Not sure yet.

yes I was.
Not everyone who thinks this is a bad idea voted for Kamala.
Some of us voted for trump to keep us out of war with iran. You know, like he said he was going to do, repeatedly , for several years.

It’s why we have an army lol -
This is going to be the clean up crew - Trump said today we will be gone by the 4th - it’s going to be so fun to float over the Panicans when This war is a huge success - and when the gop win midterms
