Yes, it IS fake news.
The allegations were investigated, insufficient evidence to make an arrest much less trial and conviction....years ago.
The guy would have passed the clearance if he stuck around. He had passed on everything already: the temporary in March, the final in June, and was in process of WH requested additional screening from November.
If no crime was committed, if no conviction or guilty plea for a crime = passing marks for background.
The guy was in the clear for his clearance Clarence.

Bill went to the WH and saw Obama. He tells his point of view when asked what he saw. Obama's hair was neatly done, and he had on a blue tie.
Sue was with him. Her story: Obama had a weird part in his hair, and he wore a black suit.
Those are NOT contradictions. It paints a complete picture. Hair was neat, but with a part that was weird to 1 observer. He had a suit on and a blue tie with the suite.
Neither stated he had shoes on. Does that mean he was barefooted? No. could he have been? Sure.
The "Trump lied about staff who beat his wife because the time line doesn't match is the same.
Sanders stated they found out the totality in Feb. It is perfectly in line with what the FBI stated.

That would be an odd approach coming from an administration lead by a guy that was inundated with unverified accusations.

So, did the FBI inform Trump of ALL of the information re Porter (as was their duty), BEFORE Trump hired Him...or did the FBI hold back what they obviously should have know and relate it in March, AFTER Porter was hired? If so, further damning evidence that Wray/FBI are corrupt, and out to damage POTUS.

Kelly should step down immediately and Trump should be impeached. I'm afraid America will be lucky to survive this scandal.

That's how the security clearance investigations go...
You do it, appeal, wait...
Once activity done, they find you a job where they can use you until they fire you or get a job and keep you off clearance...
But believe it or not, while you're under investigation, you have a clearance if you held one previously.
For the WH to take a month and a half is typical, because firing has to go through HR legalese.
Not really anything...now if this means it's critical of the administration, it's technically critical of the system that's been in place for 20+ years.
