For every seven you hire and you end up having to fire, you get one who has or is getting their shite together and will work their arse off and be one of the best damn employees you’ll ever have. It’s really a roll of the dice.

Depends on his/her attitude and work ethic.

Depends on the crime and if i believed them.

Yes, but it would depend on the situation.

Some of our best and worst workers are felons. The felon label has nothing to do with whether or not they are a good hire.

One of the best people I know is a convicted felon.
Convicted of murder (2nd degree, I think). Made some bad decisions and was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people when he was about 18 or 19. He didn't kill anybody, but was an accomplice by fact of his being with the group that did.
Spent about 12 years in prison, I think. He's been out for about 10 years or so.
Paid his debt, grew up, and is certainly not the stupid and naive person he was, then.
I trust him with just about anything, really. You'd never ever know his past unless he told you and if he told you, you'd have an insanely hard time believing it.
Long answer to say that it depends on the person and the crime and the circumstances.

Spin-off: Would you bang a homeless person?

I am a convicted felon. I did my time and when released I was welcomed back to my old job. I fricked up once and have live a clean life ever since. That’s 36 years ago. I’ve been married to the same woman who stood by me then and to this day. I can’t say every felon can be trusted by I’m living proof that it’s possible.

So, about like hiring anyone else.

How long has she been homeless?

I wholly agree. We all frick up, we just don’t all get caught. Glad you were able to move past your mistake to have what sounds like a pretty great life.

Depends on crime. If it’s rape, child diddling, or murder then I would probably pass. If it’s a non-violent crime I would consider. If it’s J6 insurrection I would make them a VP.

Convicted of possession with intent to distribute. Or something else drug related.
We don't all do this.

Not enough information. What was he convicted of?

There are other ways of fricking up. Also, charges don’t equal guilt, even the offender accepts a plea.
