Their efficacy drops against the Delta variant, but they are protective.

And they greatly reduce your risk of dying.

So they do work, just not as well as against other variants.

And add long as they prevent serious illness, I don't care.

I'll catch a damn cold. You always could've caught a cold.

We as a nation has to move on. Protect yourself as you wish. If you choose not to get vaccinated, I don't care. Just don't tell me to lock down.

I trust the JJ vaccine the least. The mRNA vaccines have risks, but I think the benefits outweigh the risks for a person in my situation. I don't think the benefits outweigh the risks for my children, and am completely shocked that anyone could push the vaccine for children with a straight face. I don't know what it is they're looking at that tells them children need to be vaccinated from COVID. Seems we'd just be trading COVID deaths for vaccine deaths if we get everyone under 30 vaccinated.

Agree. But we are not allowed to consider risk/benefit anymore in medicine, we are just supposed to follow the “science”, meaning the bureaucrats telling us what to do. I got Pfizer, would do it again, but my kids have not.

It looks like you have. Enjoy being part of a trial on an experimental vaccine.

Who isn't allowed to consider risk benefit? Were you forced to take it?

I trust my immune system + healthy lifestyle.

This is what I prefer as well, especially considering the Cleveland Clinic immunity memory study. T-Cells seem to remember how to re-make anti-bodies. Me, my wife, her sister and brother-in-law all had Covid in spring 2020. We had mild symptoms, all got over it quickly and have had no re-infection.

BTW, my wife's sister and brother-in-law are in their mid & late 70s, much older than us.

Medical practitioners, society in general. All we hear is the message to vaccinate everyone without any discussion of risk/benefit for different groups of people. It is not informed consent in many cases.

You didn't get it after it was recommended, therefore you were allowed to exercise your own risk/benefit analysis.

No, I did get it, as I already said, if you would bother to read. I made my own risk/benefit analysis, as I already said, if you would bother to read.

But that approach it is not the messaging being given to medical practitioners or to the public. So you have patients being given the vaccine immediately after the illness, which is a crazy unnecessary act and only adds risk without any clear benefit. And the mass vaccination of children who are at extremely low risk from the virus, with unclear risk from the vaccine.

Novavax is the safest, but most of Congress must not have bought stock in them since its release is being delayed. It’s also supposedly effective against the variants, but then they wouldn’t be able to impose more mask mandates and lockdowns.

I got distracted with other posters saying they didn't get it. But to my point, if one isn't forced to get it they are being allowed to exercise their own risk/benefit analysis.

If I had to take one, that’s the one I would take. It’s based off of traditional vaccination techniques and protocol.

I got the J&J in May.

No side effects that I’m aware of.

You literally moan and cry about having to come here and correct all of the "idiot mouth breathers" that don't agree with you. Who is making you log in, open threads and start responding? And who is making you be such an a-hole about it?
