You also got to keep in mind that this was also basically the strategy for Hillary Clinton in 2016, but that fricked her over. Hillary only had five interviews in the last month leading up to the election, one of which she was sang to by Mary J Blige and another where literal kindergarteners gave her Zoom questions. The other three she was basically forced to do after James Comey reopened the cases against her, and then she lost.

No interview, no platform, no speeches, just an empty vessel. Setting aside that a Harris Presidency would be horrible for the country, it's just pathetic that we've reached the point where a candidate can be at 50/50 and the public only knows 1) she's "black" and 2) she's a woman.
