Small scale brewing is a hipster thing and always has been. I wouldn't go to a microbrewery any more than I'd go to a Vegan restaurant. I don't belong there, wouldn't be welcome there, and I wouldn't like the people there.

I can't really describe it but I saw Patton Oswalt on Celebrity Jeopardy the other night and he had the exact same look in his eyes. It's not just that they look like ugly losers there's like an actual physical symptom that affects these dudes' eyes. This guy is getting national attention and not just in his community... He is forcing the government's hand to do something... The ball is in the government's court.. Will they dunk on him and potentially make him a national hero in the eyes of the crazies? But then again any move the government makes the crazies will scream bloody murder...
