It’s gotten so common now many people don’t even notice but when the media feels the need to prove an impossibility like “no fraud is being committed in the government and here’s why” then that is a sure sign you are being fed propaganda.

Yep. Automatically assume the opposite of what the MSM is feeding us

Musk could also have simply looked up the SSA’s own website, which explains that since September 2015 the agency has automatically stopped benefit payments when anyone reaches the age of 115.

"Don't look at what the data says. The text on the website is the real source of truth." These people are morons.

Hey Boss, I just found a paper trail showing the CFO is paying unverified contracts.

Nah, that can't be true. It says right here in the rule book that we don't pay unverified contracts.

Oh ok. Case closed then.

Wired Magazine: The same folks that brought you this kind of false information:

Wired Magazine: Covid Vaccine is a miracle

quote:

The Statistical Secrets of Covid-19 Vaccines They’re really very good, and they’re the only way out of the pandemic. But a tour through the numbers could bring the vaccine-hesitant into the tent.

yeah right, trust these fkers

yeah the media hysteria was just nuts. When we got to work the next day after all the changes were in production we were just standing around looking at each other like well, I guess that was it

My general response nowadays is “if you can’t share the article from the publication or news source questioning Biden’s mental faculties, I can’t take it seriously as a legitimate news source”.

That was the biggest story, on full display to the world. If they didn’t cover it, it was for an ideological reason

Wired is WOKE.

F' them.

I also remember when 'experts' told me FEMA funds weren't used for illegals ... until $80 million was recovered from New York City..'stolen back' lol as officials stated. Then yesterday we found $20 million Welcome center in San Diego is closing, after just being built with FEMA funds.

OK, how many of these 115 year olds were receiving payments after death?

there are no 150 year olds getting Social Security

In a follow up exposé, Wired Magazine writes that, after extensive work, it's journalists determined there are no 150 y/o people around.

What wired did not do is explore
(1) Where those payments ACTUALLY went,
(2) How, if SSA has automatically stopped benefit payments when anyone reaches the age of 115, there are 150y/o's still in the system,
(3) Why in this day and age of advance systems and software, the SSA is still using COBOL.

But hat's off to the skilled sleuths at Wired for uncovering "there actually are no 150 year olds getting Social Security."
That is some really excellent work!

That’s just one possible explanation for what DOGE allegedly found

Oh, alright. So long as there is at least on possible excuse we shouldn't look into it. Got it. I'll remember that legal defense.

You got a link for this?

All I saw Elon do was post a screenshot and claim that 150 year olds were classified as not dead.

And he made claims about fraud.

But I never saw Elon claim that 150 year olds were receiving benefits.

That was all the X reply guys claiming that.

I guess COBOL also automatically lists more people receiving SS than actually live in the country.

Only complete fricking retards are making excuses for the fed gov robbing us blind.

Because it is. You can give the government more money or donate directly to your favorite terrorist organization if you like.

If the S.S. Administration is still using COBOL....that is gross incompetence.

experts quickly pointed out that this is very likely just a quirk of the decades-old coding language that underpins the government payment systems.

Ok, let's say this is correct, it should at least be looked into right? If that is the reason for this issue then great but it would also mean they should probably update the system, no?

Some of these issues are just due to poorly kept data rolls. Many deceased people or SSNs that were flagged as stolen need to be purged from the rolls.
Not much different from the "but dead people were voting" claim. Dead people were being sent ballots to their last known address. Only a miniscule amount of those were stolen and mailed in.

Wired Magazine is leftist and bias. I would take anything they write with a box of salt not a grain.
