Out of curiosity, what do right wing religious nuts advocate that is detrimental to a functioning society in your opinion?

Some of the conservatives on this board had a thread praising the Muslims for their treatment of gay people and chopping off body parts of petty criminals.

Dead skunks lie in the middle of the road. Joe Biden ran as “middle of the road” from his basement, then went left of Obama.

frick the middle. You are a fat pussy if you want to compromise with communists and globalists. Period.

Yes, they do. Their convictions just are not as extreme as your convictions.

With our two party system and without ranked choice, it's not likely to happen

With ranked choice you wind up electing the person the most voters can agree on, the most common sense candidate. Instead our current system you end up electing the most extremist politicians catering to the extremes. Our current system sucks and is bringing this country into the toilet

Bill Clinton/campaign would be unelectable today.

he was my first response to the op.

he gave us Clarence Frigging Thomas. but first nominated someone who wrote a paper on the idealist notion that people who are most effected by a law should get more votes about it.

Middle of the road right now is schools teaching your kids that they/them are non-binary without your consent, but not actually giving them hormones. Middle of the road is a moving target that has recently been pushed way to the left.

What does this Bible verse have to do with political discourse?

It’s self explanatory. God himself says a person should find a position and be consistent and not the middle of the road.

Trump actually WAS middle of the road.

Agreed.

People who think Trump is highly conservative confuse me.

A moderate on today's spectrum is a liberal from 35 years ago.

So I guess you're right in one sense that they do have convictions—outdated liberal convictions.

I'd say you're wrong that their convictions aren't as extreme as his. I'd say you're right that today's moderates' convictions aren't as extreme as today's leftist convictions.
