Does everything have to be left wing liberals or right wing religious nuts?

Where does the regular person fit in now?

I dont really care for Trump, but Biden is a demented idiot that the democrats is hiding from the real press because he cant even answer questions.

A great moderate once said, "Maybe, maybe not. We could, but we may not. It will happen or it won't."

We already had John McCain and Mitt Romney.

What do you want? The Republicans to run Hillary?

Out of curiosity, what do right wing religious nuts advocate that is detrimental to a functioning society in your opinion?

unlikely in the near term. Our primary process and overall electoral system all but eliminates the chance for compromise candidates.

What exactly is a moderate?

Church?
No tranny?
Obey the laws?
Limit teaching to reading writing and math?

What else am I missing

Unpopular opinion: Trump actually WAS middle of the road.

And I don’t mean that as an insult.

Only if an inspired act of God happens and the stupid wing of both parties vanished.

I don't care for Trump, either, but as polarizing as he is in many ways, he is not terribly conservative. He leans protectionist in trade, is somewhat dovish in some aspects of foreign policy, and has said that a ban on abortions after six weeks is "too harsh."

You would probably have thought all of the founding fathers were "right-wing religious nuts." We need more of them.

Not true. Moderates just tend to not give a shite about culture war and red meat issues.

We actually had one. That would be Donald Trump.

Trump was as close as we'll see in our lifetimes.
Not a conservative as far as spending or social issues (as most on here seem to define a conservative). But supported a strong economy and strong PEACEFUL foreign policy.. so not a left wing progfilth shitheel.
Edited to add that strong PEACEFUL foreign policy also rules out republicans, so..

Anyone in between does not continue the Uniparty game that keeps us in conflict with each other and them in power.

Yes, exactly. Trump isn't much further to the right than Bill Clinton in 1992. Progressives continue to move to the Left. The 1992 campaign of Bill Clinton would be unelectable today.
