We all knew that...or should have known that getting the vaccine never meant you'd be guaranteed to not get COVID, so what point do you think you're making there?
Not making a point, it’s just the truth. Taking it a step further from the OP, if the Vaccine doesn’t equate immunity, and only protection from cytokines storm, then how is it protecting any spread?

if the Vaccine doesn’t equate immunity
If frogs had wings ... but they don't.
If the vaccines did not confer immunity, they would not have received use authorization. They do, so they did.

In this online community there is a lot of anti vaccine rhetoric.
Being anti vaccine because of side affects, inadequate testing, or even mandates does not equate to thinking it doesn’t protect against covid.
No one here, perhaps aside from a loon or two, is arguing this. Again, your thread is a straw man.

The level of transphobia on this site is disheartening!

They do not provide absolute immunity, they just reduce severity .

It's apparently not working for Jon Rahm

People are REALLY invested in the politics of this, Powerman. Nothing is going to change that.

Yes, they might work at reducing seriousness of symptoms.
However, it’s impossible to know the potential long term side effects. Even though it may be fine, it’s impossible to know for sure yet.
As someone who just easily got over Covid even with a pre-existing condition, I am sitting it out.

Natural immunity.... can’t beat it!

Or else what? No one is throwing you in jail or raising your taxes for not getting it.
my wife works at a university and was told to take the vaccine or find another job.
no, she wasn't thrown in jail but her lifestyle was threatened.
doesn't the constitution allow for individual rights?
what ever happened to "my body, my choice"? puzzling!

Is that the overseas studies that Pfizer did? We’re those peer reviewed, and will they need another booster. Any American studies? 5 thousand dead after both shots? Yeah, it’s real good, and just wait for the long term studies , to be so sure if it’s even been worth it. There’s still a lot here we don’t know...

This should surprise no one given the whole shitshow has been 99% politics and 1% medical issue from Day 1.
