Will Lindsey Graham even be remembered by anyone outside of SC in 10 years?

Serving in the Senate must be the one the most intoxicating things in the world. Many of those people have to literally die to leave.

But really, for what? Will the average American or South Carolinian look around in 10 years and think ‘Boy, I wish Lindsey Graham were still in the Senate?’

How is that any different than anybody with just a regular job?

Not really. He’ll live on for the chronically online for his closeted gayness and ladybug taint

It isn’t. But the egomaniacs in the Senate crave legacies.

Lots of gay men will look back fondly at the good times they had with his ladybugs

10 years. Maybe.

20 years. No.

Very few people remember senators more than 20 years after their death.

Especially if they don’t have their names attached to legislation.

Did Graham sponsor anything in his decades in Congress? Nothing is coming to mind,

I'll certainly remember him more than 10 years.

I remember Bob Livingston, Bob Dole, David Vitter, Newt Gingrich.

He’ll probably be remembered more than most Senators. He was a famous politician.

They will probably build a statue of him in Ukraine. At least they should considering everything he did for them.

I’m sure he did or directly contributed to a lot of good things, of a lot of different descriptions. I don’t have any reason to directly defend the guy or anything, but I do know that the overall “feel” of Graham amongst us here is extreme hostility towards him, perhaps even hatred. But when pressed the majority really can’t even explain why, with any real detail.

1- Career politician who thought he was above his state
2 - Pushed for amnesty during GWB
3 - War monger
4- MIGA
etc.

And it is amusing to see the thread simping for Graham while complaining about ‘the swamp’, RINO’s etc.

Y’all are just as inconsistent as the Left
