No, our decline as a country began possibly 50 years ago. We have meddled in the affairs of foreign governments for far too long and we have tried to rig elections in a multitude of countries. We have proven to be an unreliable bully of a country. To make matters worse, America used to stand for freedom, liberty and goodness. We now stand for nothing but perversion, greed,Power and sick moral behavior. Yes, today only announces to the world that we are a true banana Republic but the decline has been ongoing for half of a century.

My thoughts too. Today's date will be the final confirmation in history books that woke people up that weren't paying attention. History books will start dissecting everything that lead up to today to see how we got here.
