Basic science?

Underwater and Air, smaller is better. Not sure about todays standards but short men worked better in subs and planes.

Not sure about skills of short people but if subs and planes were designed only for them think of the size and weight advantages.

Last I checked, the average man is taller. OP is right, get rid of shorties.

They still have to be selected to be an officer, meet those requirements, and meet all requirements to be a pilot. There is no male and female standards in aviation. Now if you want to pick apart their physical requirements sure, but that has no bearing on moving a collective and cyclic stick in a helicopter.

No good women until we run out of good men. All things being equal, men are still superior.

According to Stats, women are safer drivers than men. Don't know about pilots.

Go figure the OP logged off. Dude reminds me of POTUS2024 who makes an essay post rambling then logs off. Funny thing is he’s probably been on a civilian flight with a woman pilot and never said shite.

There are plenty of exceptional female pilots. I don’t think sex has anything to do with it.

Now if we’re putting unqualified people in charge of training, and we’re not preparing our soldiers properly, that’s a different discussion. And it’s probably where it needs to land. And I suspect that’s also causing unqualified people to be ushered forwards.

At work I see women all the time put into leadership positions they aren’t qualified for because they check the right boxes and have the right sponsors. And what sucks about it is they pass up other women that would be excellent leaders because they worry more about doing the right thing than checking the right box.

There are some pretty bad arse American women folk out there. Few of them flew some pretty crazy medical evac missions in the Middle East. This has been well documented.

So you’re judging women who have been selected as some of the best candidates, spend many hours training, belong to the same units that certify and trust men, yet somehow they’re not qualified?

I'm not judging the women. I'm judging the weak men that allow them to fly. There's not a single good reason a woman should fly any aircraft over a man for our military.

Has no one seen Lioness? Some of the best black hawk pilots are lesbian women.
