Kemp is one of the few who has the sack to stand up to Trump. He beat him at his own game.

all because Democrats unsurprisingly have targeted Trump with bull shite lawfare.

You finally answered your own question

The right was angry. DeSantis simply couldnt read the room. Pushaw talked him into making a snarky porn star quip instead. That was the end for Rob! with MAGA. And he will never win anything without them

Kemp has questionable connections to the CCP and has been pretty vocal about supporting Chinese business in GA.

Just curious, what Chinese businesses are really in Georgia? Most of the east Asian investment happening in Georgia (and next door in Alabama) is from South Korea. I think at last count it was over 100 SK companies with a large majority of them centering around the automotive industry
Kia in West Point
Hyundai's new EV plant in Bryan County
DuckYang and SK Group building batteries and semiconductors for EVs in various locations

I know Hisense has a presence here, as does Complete Flooring Supply Corporation, Sentury Tires, and Haier but most of those businesses started under Nathan Deal's administration.

I do know the state legislature passed (and Kemp signed) a bill last year that prohibits companies owned or operated by China from getting access to state contracts.

So "MAGA" can:

Accuse him of pedophilia
Say his wife faked her cancer
Say he had a hand in his sister's death
Say he is a marxist globalist without a shred of evidence

And he never responds

And then he makes a comment that says "Not knowing anything about payments to porn stars"

And that freaks you guys out?

What does that say about you?

No idea honestly, and maybe his dealing with them were all above board but it certainly looks questionable.

After assuming office in January 2019, Brian Kemp met, in the Chinese Consulate in Houston, Texas, with Consul General Li Qiangmin, where he praised the governor. Kemp met Li again in July 2019 and gifted him a book about Georgia. Kemp wrote the following note in the book that expressed his admiration for Li’s "great service and for your friendship to the state of Georgia.” Seventeen days later, Brad Raffensperger announced that Georgia would be awarding $107 million to Dominion Voting Systems for the replacement of state voting machines. quote:

In September 2019, Kemp met with Li’s replacement, Cai Wei, at the Governor’s Mansion in Atlanta, and in early 2020, Kemp met with him again at the Houston Chinese Consulate. In July 2020, the U.S. State Department ordered this same consulate closed because it was determined to be a den of espionage and a massive spy center for the Chinese government/CCP. It was declared a hub of spying and international property theft, and Cai Wei was determined, by the U.S. State Department, to be a Chinese spymaster. On February 3, 2020, about the same time of the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, the Georgia State Senate passed a resolution to honor the special relationship between the People’s Republic of China and to honor and "recognize the Consul General Cai Wei of the Consulate of China in Houston.” Through all of this, the University System of Georgia has become home to six of this country’s 63 chapters of the Confucius Institute. These chapters are a Trojan horse for CCP propaganda and have been ordered closed in many states and countries.

I believe 49 out of 50 states use some sort of ballot tabulating machine. I believe there are only three companies that make these machines. Dominion is one.

I would guess it’s because he knows how strong he is in his state and he doesn’t think Trump has a snowball’s chance in hell of being elected.

I don’t doubt that they do. There isn’t any evidence that the dominion contract and the Kemp/Chinese meeting are related. The timing is interesting and led people to speculate.

Could certainly be something there though with the way the Georgia election clusterfrick went down.
