Why would Judge Huges try to bribe a Hammond Councilman to endorse Liljeberg

According to a report in the Times Picayune, a Hammond Concilman has signed an affidavit saying Judge Jeff Hughes offered him $5000 to endorse Liljeberg. I am told Liljeberg is the choice of Gumbo Pac and JBE for Supreme Court.

Hughes was elected by GumboPAC who few realized what it was for back then. They made Hughes look like a firebreathing conservative which he never has been nor will ever be.

Hughes needs to be removed from office. A ton shite has come out about him and his slimy self the past few months.

And now we have a good guy in Clint Cointment coming into office in January.

I don't believe this story.
Just like that trash story going back years ago involving Berkley Durbin and Hughes. It's complete BS. Someone influential has it in for Jeff Hughes and the second rate newspaper serving New Orleans and Baton Rouge is playing along.
