So cute.

So true too. The esteemed senator from Texas is next.

He's doing exactly what he needs to get Thune out. He is powerless after tonight.

So the SAVE Act is going to be enacted?

Hopefully, but Cornyn stands to get replaced with someone to the right of him. Notice… Trump had to be dragged into endorsing Paxton.

bullshite! Remember when Trump told Thune he wants the Save Act passed and he would endorse Cornyn? Even Paxton said he would withdraw, if it meant getting the Save Act passed, but arse clown Thune showed his true colors and now stands to lose another of his prime RINO buddies...

I think he was trying to play nice because Thune/McConnell/GOPe controls the Senate. He can play nice and pass some things… or come at Thune and pass nothing. The whole reason Thune was chosen majority leader was to carry out McConnell and the GOPe/uniparty’s mission of obstructing Trump.

thanks for proving my point. Trump will sell out to the GOPe in a heartbeat.

I’m closer to this than you know. Paxton was calling everyone’s (including Trump’s) bluff on this.

Heard Trump an hour or so ago say that “Thune is great man”. Heaping praise.

Thune is smart. He knows that the wind is changing. Albeit with Cassidy and Cornyn going down hard, they go never Trump and he’ll have cover for the SA Act to flop.

I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't coming in the next few weeks. I've been hearing some media folks on the right calling for Thune's ouster.

Thune would only have to carry about nine other republicans to go along with Cassidy and the other disaffected ones. The votes would be there now if they had a guaranteed chance of success.
