None of that should matter for a SCOTUS justice.

Why can’t we just have justices that can, you know, interpret the law?

WRONG.

There is a reason Lady Justice has on a blindfold with law in one hand the scales of justice in the other.

A Supreme Court Justice must be as impartial as possible in arriving at his/her decisions, otherwise we get sideways bullcrap like the decision to let the Obamacare mandate slide (among many, many others).

Being black should not be an excuse to use the Constitution as legal toilet paper.

Translated and nope.

You're not conservative if you believe The Constitution should be dependent on one's biases.

We won't know until her pedo records are released.

No it isn't.

She's already made it heard. What does that have to do with appointing her?

Title 9 and race Nomination? This should never happen on the Supreme Court of the USA. Our founding fathers are crying over the abuse and misinterpretations of our Constitution.
Another Government Nationwide search?

One of her big platforms is to decrease penalties for child sex offenders - She is pro pedo that’s why they want her in office up there

First off, she qualified, is she the most qualified? I doubt it but that is besides the point. This isn't a position like a quarterback or test pilot, this is a position that each justice brings with them a lifetime of experience from a world much different than mine, and likely yours.

As a black woman her point of view is important and she can bring an insight into decisions that none of the other justices have. That insight deserves to be heard and considered.

You racist POS. This is exactly what is wrong with our country today. How bout we find the most qualified candidate - not the one with the right skin color or genetalia.

If law were interpreted strictly by the Constitution and not be the "feels" that you think it should, we ALL would be better off.

n her point of view i

the only point of view that matters for the USSC is the view of the constitution.

I dont care about her 'background'. i care if she can read the paper that tells her how to do her job.

Then why in the f*ck is it called The Supreme Court?

Didn't we try this $hit already with the "wise Latina" woman?

Just like all the other justices, through the lens of her own experiences.

Her job as justice/judge has nothing to do with her point of view. It’s to read the law and apply it to cases.

If you support this nominee then you support discrimination on the basis of race. Biden's qualifications for nominee excluded anyone else that was not a black woman, regardless of other qualifications
