Why start deporting when you're still letting them in?

Law stipulates they get a hearing.

It’s dumb, but that’s how it is.

These people have deportation ORDERS in place.

If they find any pregnant ones, they need to be first out.

The wall is going up. Have to bail the water to stay afloat while you fix the hole in the hull.

Because you can’t stop them from coming in because of democrat policies . But you can deport them . Trump needs to find a seat to use the military to help port illegals. It’s time to start deport as many as we can from purple and red states . Don’t waste time and effort on the democrat states .

That border will never close. In fact it will only become more porous. Neither political party wants it closed.

Democrats want the votes. Republicans want the cheap labor.

No it's not.

We're balls deep into the trump presidency and less than 150 miles of new or replacment wall has "gone up".

That's fricking nothing.

"cheap labor" is a misnomer; it implies that cheaper labor will lead to higher entrepreneurial profits. But if that 'labor' votes Socialist...then the 'profit' goes into the (shrinking) Government kitty.

Kinda like allowing all our manufacturing to go to China, so that cheaper labor over there would mean bigger profits and lower consumer costs. In the long, now we witness first hand the consequences of this short-sighted enterprise. The consumers lose their good jobs and consumption/market goes away.

Anyway you cut it, importing masses of virtually unemployable people will not bode well for relative societal prosperity. And it won't take long for that to become obvious.

"I'm from [insert Cent Am country that has treaty with US] and I'm seeking asylum"

"Ok, where is your ID"

"I don't have one"

"Ok, we'll get you sorted out in 6 months. Meanwhile, here's some money and a court date. Welcome to the US."

"What happens if I don't show up for my court date?"

"You'll be a hero in California"

With being mindful of NPR's "African Migrants Are Becoming A New Face Of The U.S. Border Crisis" article, my main concern is for the children.

It would behoove these immigrants to learn that it's not wise to have children if they're poor and unstable.

They've got their fingers in their ears.

When trump said "big beautiful wall", folks got so creamy they stuck to the sofa.

The first campaign promise trump broke was his biggest and he knew it would be broken when he made it.

Neither political party wants that border closed and it's a fact.

Yeah ok. I get it.

Politicians though don't give a shite about the longterm consequences of anything. They can't see past one fricking election cycle and right now, this country wants cheap labor. And it wants it at the local, regional and national level. It also wants it at the samll business and corporate level. Republicans are doing their part to make sure we get it.

Correct.

And if they fail to show up for the hearing which most do then they lose and an order can be issued for their deportation in absentia.

This is why they should be detained until the court date. We should hire 1,000 more judges\lawyers. The hearing should take place within a few days.

As I understand it an asylum seeker must apply for asylum in the first country they come to, so that would be Mexico. If they show up here they should be told they are ineligible for asylum here but they can apply in Mexico. That hearing should only take a few minutes. No extenuating circumstances should be heard. Send them back. Others will get the message.

They dont want asylum. They want free benefits and a job that pays cash so they can send it back home. If they were locked in a detainment center they get neither, we would be removing a huge incentive for them to come here.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!
