Why should illegal immigrants have a faster path to citizenship than legal ones?

And how the hell are you MAGAs on board with it?

THey shouldn't.
And don't assume all MAGAs are for this. We're not like Hussein's lap lickers that blindly follow him into the good night.

10-12 years is shorter? Longer? Or about the same?

I’m ok with it as long as there are safe guards for welfare and Medicaid and the border has to be secured tighter than a knats azz. From there we allow merit based immigration. We shouldn’t care is Pablo is dirt poor and uneducated and wants to come get free shite.

Because legal ones can’t get end the lottery, chain or build a big beautiful wall. It’s not rocket science

They shouldn't. Citizenship is bullshite. At least give them a work visa or the boot.

Illegal immigrants should never get citizenship. End of story.

It depends on certain things but some can become citizens in less than 10 years while others take closer to 20.

It takes a couple years to get a green card. I sponsored my wife, and it took over two years to get a green card. Once you have a green card, you have to wait 10 years to APPLY for citizenship IF you jump through all the hoops perfectly. So, LEGAL IMMIGRANTS have a minimum 12 years if not more. My wife is going on 16.
Citizenship should not be easy. It should be earned.

64D Chess. There are a million legal immigrants per year, plus illegals. Can make up the 1.8 in a relatively short time period just by building the Wall.
But frick a trust fund. The wall is shovel ready. As a plus, train inner city youth by enlisting them as paid workers.

It took my son in law about three years and $6K to gain US citizenship. Trump has suggested 8 to 10 years.

Is adding 30,000 dem voters to a reddish purple state a good move?

Depends on a lot of things.
In fact, the question that you're asking is not the right question. The right question is how long does it take to gain permanent residency (green card). Once you have a green card, you can apply for citizenship 5 years after receiving your green card. The wait time to get a green card is what is really variable. It depends on whether you are applying for a family-based or an employment based green card. They all depend on your country of chargeability (country of birth). For example if you are from India and you applied for an employment based green card in either eb2 or eb3 category the current wait time is more than 50 to 60 years. On the other hand for most of the other 200 countries the wait time in eb2 or eb3 green card line is Max 2 years. Just like this the family-based lines also have different wait times for different countries.
I have lot of personal experience about dealing with the legal immigration system. I've legally lived in the United States for the last 15 years. I was on the student visa for the first six years. Since then I've been waiting for a green card for the last 9 years and there is no end in sight as I am from India, the most backlogged country.
