Why isn't there law in place saying if you avoid due process becoming a illegal immigrant.

..you automatically waive due process being deported, etc

Seems logical on immigration and other crimes.

So, no due process for anyone accused of ANY crime?

Rights are not absolute, certainly not for foreign nationals, and certainly not after the SCOTUS affirmed use of the AEA for the gangs.

If this about Garcia he had due process. He received a removal order because he never showed up for his asylum hearing. He appealed and lost in appellate court. If you claim asylum and don't show up for court that was your due process.

Oh look, it's that guy! Where did my op say "any"?

What a weirdo. Makes up words to fuel his own response.

But, any misdemeanor for sure. Start there

Between facial scans and fingerprints, and a litany of paper documents that are not hard to produce/get.

There is no excuses. Besides, AI can knock this out in a day. No longer will the constraints of time be a factor

Have Congress update our 60 year old laws and they can put that in there if they think it could get the votes to pass. There might be some treaties and conventions we are party to that would limit some stuff, but the GOP controls Congress, so they can make the push needed to withdraw from them.

This will become a thread of all kinds of “ends justifies the means”.

Many of the same people who will rail about “shall not be infringed” will also say due process is not an absolute right for illegal aliens.

I used to think this was a predominantly leftist thing, but my side of the aisle has become almost as bad.

No, and it's not mentioned in op

Judges ruling warrants have to be served to arrest (and eventually deport)

Warrant being part of due process in their blurry eyes.

Perhaps be a little more descriptive of what constitutes "other crimes".

You'd need a Constitutional amendment, not a law.

I was just trying to understand your argument. What did you mean by "other crimes?" You didn't limit it, so I assumed you meant "ANY crime."

I was just asking for clarification. Why the hostility?

Or, use your reading comprehension to realize it didn't say "any"

We should apply the same procedural rigor to these deportations that was applied to their entry and asylum process.

Lol. I'm glad I asked. You call me a weirdo? Under your scenario, police show up at your door, you get thrown in jail for 6 months on a misdemeanor. You don't even get a chance to find out why you got thrown in jail?

There isn’t a current law that says illegal aliens, terrorist or invaders are guaranteed due process for entering the country illegally. It’s just that warped usages of law from judges that have allowed the constant reinterpretations. This needs brought in front of the SC and a hard take from the POS that are paid to make laws to protect the citizens of the United States

It’s been a consistent 9-0 interpretation.
