I think most Trump fans like and respect DeSantis. I think Trump does as well. This is an exercise on who we want to carry the MAGA movement to the finish line. Most who stop to read this thread have already seen the old Trump interview with Charlie Rose. The concept hasn't changed. Trump wants to weed out the moles and shame them for it. That doesn't mean he can't work with them. Witness his stumping for Marco Rubio. You'd think he hates him. Maybe he does. But he knows how to negotiate. And that's what Trump haters can't fathom.
However, if you cross Trump and show up on MSM like some deep state creature like Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan, don't expect him to show mercy. Pretty simple.
DeSantis appears to be laying low on the subject. Does Trump have bad intel to share about him? Maybe. Or Maybe DeSantis is quietly on board with what Trump is building and wants to be a part of it. That's my view, and I think DeSantis is great! DeSanctimonious is for the naysayers that are still TDS and are angling or "anything but Trump".
