Why is there no actual movement to end the covid insanity?

Yeah you see people griping and bitching about it here and there. You see people saying “well, I’m not doing anything different than I ever did,” but I’m not sure what world those people live in and am certain they must not have kids.

shite is over, if it ever was really anything. We have a vaccine, vast majority of cases for anyone still getting it are rather mild, we have treatments, and hospitalizations are plummeting.

Who is going to stand up and lead the movement to end all the madness? Ditch the stupid masks and open EVERYTHING up like it’s 2019?

Who????

Trump did all the heavy lifting, got the vaccine, and now this current admin has no interest in opening up anything.

Because you’ll get cancelled and called a murder who wants to kill grandma. They control the language and the PR and for whatever reasons businesses and HR departments follow along with it.

Which should surprise no one. They never had any intention of giving up their new found power and control.

Exactly what I just posted in another thread. Biden couldn't have walked into a better situation with regard to the virus. They inherited the first wave of a vaccine they had nothing to do with, there's been a sharp decline in cases/severity...yet they have no interest in taking ownership of it. Rather than a rallying message of a light at the end of the tunnel, they're still hedging on how this could go through the year with no significant changes in daily life.

I am still being yelled at in the parking lot of stores even though I am a good 50 yards away from the entrance, for not wearing a mask.

I go to a park to run in the mornings and was warming up in the parking lot with stretches and someone who was going to the dog park next to the parking lot got onto me for not wearing a mask. "I'd like to visit this dog park without having to worry about being placed on a ventilator", she said.

This is not a left wing area either, its purple with a red tilt.

This isn't ending any time soon. Too many sheep.

Because the government is printing cash and sending checks to everyone for doing nothing, and the Fed is keeping rates ( which would naturally rise as the value of money is diluted) from rising.

People like money for nothing, with no ramifications. Hope this helps.

People have to stop being silent. If you see people wearing masks alone outside, chastise them. Mock them.

When you see the media. Call them Pravda. Mock them. Make fun of them.

When you see politicians. Call them traitors and pussies.

The time of niceties and just going about your day has to stop. It’s time to change tactics and start belittling and mocking the sheep.

They believe that the political changes and leverage they can get by dragging this virus on is greater than the short term political boost they would get by declaring the virus over.

Never let a crisis go to waste, they say. They don't want to give up the absolute power this virus gives them.

It's gotta be local. Is your family on the same page? Do you know your neighbors? Is there someone on your street who believes the same? Can you convince someone on your street to see the light?

The way out of this won't be some singular strongman to come and save the day. It's going to be small, local cells run by a multitude of local, strong men and women that evolve into decentralized networks, which will morph into a true grassroots movement that will defeat this nonsense.

Until then, expect more of the same.

Remember that black and white meme of Trump that said "They're not after me. They're after you. I'm just in the way"?

Well, he's out of the way now. It's up to us to put an end to this nonsense.

Stubble, meet razor.

This has been like a vacation for a bunch of people. Making people go back to work and get back in the routine, well, that could actually cost them some votes. Haha

"Well, luckily you don't have to" should be your response

Yes, I used the f words in reply to her.

I am beyond pissed that its been a year and this shite is STILL going on.

My standard response to these is “Mind your own fricking business bitch”
Usually there’s no response back, typically just shock that you aren’t bowing down to their supreme ruling.

You may as well get used to seeing folks wear masks for the rest of your life. There will always be a segment of folks who will wear them, like you see them worn in China and Japan
