Ducey- AZ
Abbott- TX
McMaster- SC
Lee- TN
MeeMaw- AL

Pushing back phase dates, closing bars and restaurants, fines for mandatory masks, postponing sports, closing schools, etc

Why keep voting these people in? They are taking part in tanking the economy that's already in shambles.

The virus isn't going anywhere... they aren't providing data on the spikes in cases on it its younger folks, the death rate is still low (it's been 15 days since major protests in their respective cities).

If everyone wears a mask and the cases continue to rise but the death rate remains low what then?

Why do you expect strength from life long politicians?

I assume it’s because they are briefed on the political economy of the public health situation and read polls.

Better than the Dem she was running against, but she should not have won the primary. She was clearly the worst R on the ticket.

She switched parties during the Reagan wave, but I don't think she has ever truly been a conservative.

ETA: Still, every business can open in Alabama, so as long as we aren't regressing I'm not super concerned right now.

shite-flinging medical populism works well on the poli-board, but somewhat less well in governors’ offices.

OP, you idiot, they are mostly just limiting social gatherings. masks is just a way to let the economy rebound and try to slow down the transmission.

Basically it is cowards vs. evil, with maybe 5 good guys mixed in.

That Braun interview should be pinned to the top of this board forever.

and now we have the two clowns rushing to swap Columbus for Juneteenth
