Why is the edgy "humor" from libs and Hollywood always pedo-inspired?

"funny" videos raping a baby, tweets about little boys, etc.

Always.

Brings to mind the old saying "every joke contains an element of Truth..."

It's not humor, it's their life.

They're trying to normalize it.

My bad, I'm easily offended when it comes to people joking about fricking babies and raping kids. I should try to lighten up I guess.

I was thinking the same thing. I can have a pretty gross sense of humor and virtually nothing shocks me.

But these people are not right.

People often joke about the world around them and it makes me think they see a lot of pedo stuff, or at least know about it as an inside joke, and it seems like a normal thing to talk about on twitter for them. Very weird.

For sure. Sprinkle in a few Trump jokes and it would be better than any routine George Carlin could have ever dreamed of.

I think it is two things (related)

1) The "group" finds one thing that harms the "opposition" and then looks for more of those things.

2) The Baader-Meinhof phenomenon. Ever notice that yu may become interested in a certain automobile. Perhaps you are looking to buy a white Land Rover. Suddenly, you seem to see white Land Rovers everywhere. We are more "aware" of these 'jokes' and suddenly we see these 'jokes' everywhere.

For the record, I am opposed to all the "upset" over these jokes. Are they in poor taste? Sure. But, I say "so what?". If this guy is a neighbor and you no longer want to have him over for dinner - your choice and I understand it. If this is just some dud who does a job and I really have no other association that enjoying his program - I'm unconcerned that he made an "offensive" joke.

My sig cuts all ways.

Seconded.

They are just getting shot with their own gun. And it’s glorious.

You're right we shouldn't joke about that and while we're at it no more jokes about race, murder, disasters, ect. We just don't want to offend anyone so lets just ban all comedy

Interesting how jokes regarding race or sexuality are taboo, yet somehow 'jokes' regarding abusing children are just 'dark humor' and therefore ok.

They aren't even jokes, there's no punchline or comedic context, it's just random celebration of liking pedophilia.
