so it isn't just a 5 minute game of PR tag. they want to dive deep into the corruption and then have him back for public hearing.

The republicans want him in a deposition first. Much tougher questions and no distractions from politicians trying to grandstand.

They literally aren't. In fact, there was a press conference today on it with Jim Jordan.

They basically want to have the equivalent of a deposition. The rules are different so Hunter can't just stall and try to use up a Republican's time 5 minutes at a time.

Instead, Republicans get an hour at a time to dig into the questions.

THEN, they want to bring Hunter into a public hearing.

Because they want to be able to depose him and then edit the recording to fit their narrative. If
They’ve ever been serious about the
“Investigation” they should take his testimony in public. I think they
lack the guts.

If you really want information and want to pin someone down, you want a deposition.

I think they’re possibly setting a trap for him. At least I hope so.

Are they not capable of asking tough questions in public?

Not with the democrats screaming, “Point of order” at every question they don’t want answered. Then the democrats having 5 minutes to praise Hunter for all the great benefits he has bestowed on humanity.

Because it’s more difficult to spin public testimony. Any other take is retarded.

That’s total bull shite and you know it. In fact I bet the HOR would be willing to release the full transcript. If they did that how would you spin it?

It would be a circus. In what is a "deposition". You need to be focused, not limited by time and interruptions and need the person to answer mundane questions to set up the important information needed to discover the truth. Cannot be accomplishing a big open setting.

That is what a trial is for

Are you seriously retarded? I've now seen multiple threads where your posting is just idiotic.
