Slightly off topic, but well into the 90s, the legal age of consent there was 8. I said EIGHT.

the lipstick libertarians are the ones who draw the most from the republican vote and many local elections are very close because of this.

Low income, not much in the way of resources, and numerous tribal reservations across the state.

Much like Louisiana, NM is one of those states you generally don’t move to and instead try to get away from.

I know that. The lead was for NM (enchantment). The follow was to illustrate the decline of values across the United States of America. As in all of them including NH which is the state with my favorite of all mottos. Sorry for being obscure.

Ive been seeing some Trump signage lately.

I know the Dem congresswomen here (xchoterz or something looks decent in jeans for her age) didnt waste one day to put out a commercial she would stand up against her own party if they tried to ban fracking.

NM is a weird state. It has the rural/suburb/urban ratio of a red state but has a sante fe / taos artsy/enviro thing that keeps it kinda blue.

Trump might do better though if the latino movement is a trend.

I have a friend who just moved from the Santa Fe area. Sold his house in one day. He says a lot of Californians are moving in. He was not a fan of living there...everything is brown, a lot of grumpy old hippies, very poor areas, green chile on everything.

Land of Enchantment was opening remark. Thanks for your response from land of misunderstanding and assumption that the world is based on Braking Bad.

You should pay attention to post in entirety. Or ignore. No difference to me.

PS: After fielding your snide remark a memory was sparked:

"Live Free or Die" is the fifth season premiere episode of the American television drama series Breaking Bad, the first episode of the first part of the season and the 47th overall episode of the series.

Attention to detail is important when slinging it.

Houses from $200k-$300k are selling in a few days where I live. I think 25% of them are to out of state retirees from CA and CO. They sell their homes in high cost of living areas then use the equity to outright buy a home here for retirement.

Separate threads here about New Mexico and Colorado so I'll say this: I would not be shocked to see NM go for Trump next week, but if Colorado does I'd fall out of my chair.

If youre middle to upper middle income and not concerned about schools or where you kids will go to college it'c actually pretty cool here.

350 days of sun a year
high elevation and no humidity
Lots of outdoors stuff

Nothing like spending july and august at Red River or Cloudcroft at over 8k feet elevation highs in the lower 80s and 25% humidity.
