Maybe because people are dropping dead and getting sickened all across the country?

Govt always picks out obscure and tiny dumbshite like this or in the 80s heavy metal causes teen suicides...

While the biggest drain on society remains alcohol and tobacco related deaths.

I've seen it so many times. Everybody thinks they're an independent clear minded thinker, but they're not. Most all of us are deeply influenced by a group think whether they know it or not.

All the media outlets are bleating the same things about the evils of vaping.

This is coordinated and is textbook how public opinion is manipulated. What is the real reason behind this sudden push?

I don’t trust anything I hear from those apparatchiks.

THEY want POTUS to take a hit at the election booth for vaping being banned under his watch.

The problem of deaths associated with vaping has only recently been recognized.

Vitamin E added to vaping chemicals seems to cause severe lung damage. And often after very little exposure.

Philip Morris bought Juul and want to get rid of the competition.

This. Big tobacco now own the two biggest (Juul and Blu)...they know they can fund and survive the new regulations/etc. and it will kill all smaller ones.

They want to control the market again.

The media just pushes the narrative with the classic THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!! that Facebook moms eat up

Generally the tax on vape products is extremely low, and the big boys were hesitant to get into the vape game, so it's a win / win for government employees. It doesn't piss off Phillip Morris AND they can jack the tax rates up.

Vaping isn't really the problem. The black market shite ppl buy for vapes ARE the problem.

Which regulations would only push more to the black market

Those 42 are from THC carts bought from unlicensed pharmacists that are filled with Vitamin E Acetate, which those 42 people were allergic to.

Why? When your typical teen or 20 something who has been vaping and is on medicaid shows up in the ER, is intubated and is admitted to the ICU, possibly dying or requiring intervention up to and including a double lung transplant...

..it's a payment crisis.

I don't believe it was fully approved by FDA.

Possibly having to do with the ease of access to Marijuana Vaps and the rise of Fentynle.

But the extortion money (aka new regulations and taxes) being imposed on commercially available vapes doesn't solve that, since these illnesses are from black market vapes

it will be all good once the government allows the tobacco companies to take over the production of vape juice, and pens. That way cigarette taxes will roll over onto vaping materials. so don't be concerned.
